Image Snatchers have been stealing and appropriating images of society, turning them upside down, cutting and pasting them into new visual syntagmas since 2013. During this time, they have become one of the most recognizable collectives on the performance scene, raising generations of loyal audiences and new snatchers, collecting awards and occupying various halls and contexts. Their entities know all the social rules from gender to hierarchical structures, but not to describe themselves with them, but to burlesquely grind them into dust with mockery. What dust, glitter!

We will celebrate the 100th iteration of Image Snatchers. What is fitting (and right!) to celebrate in grand style – we are joining forces with Emanat, the producer of Image Snatchers, the Slovenian Youth Theatre, the second home of Image Snatchers in recent years, and Mladi levi, who attribute one of the first festival visits of technoburlesque back in 2014 and unwavering love and respect for the Snatchers! But because Image Snatchers are bursting with the creative excesses of iconic spots and the simultaneous potential of ever-new creators, we will not modestly treat ourselves to just one, but two evenings - oldies goldies on the 99th iteration, to rekindle memories and the future is bright on the 100th iteration to yearn for more and as a signal that Image Snatchers is eternal and timeless!
