Just a years after his first release the slovenian producer Črt Trkman a.k.a. Terranigma will present his fresh electro-tech EP titled HydroZone.
His 2019 debut Booster Pack EP was a proof that Terranigma is no newcomer and that he is inspired by music from his youth and the times when he was most active as a DJ – UK bass, jungle and breakbeat. Terranigma caught that cheerfully naïve spirit, when collecting new stickers and gaming cards were the peak of the child’s day.
It feels different with the new HydroZone EP. Trkman aquired new gear plus he changed his approach to music making. Although he gave us and EP with only 3 tracks, they are announcing big steps in his music making.
The most obvious is the change of style: HydroZone EP is darker, more mature work of Terranigma and a step towards a clubbier music, which meets the aesthetics of the well known afrofuturist duo Drexciya.
The EP cover was again the work of Stella Ivšek alias 5237, who added a detailed, almost molecular image to the sci-fi sounds of Terranigma.
