Kamizdat Rentgen presents a live performance of Luka Prinčič’s new computer music album of sonic adventures *The Luminous Darkness*, Palmovka’s DIY electroacoustic soundscapes, and Babilonska’s experimental sound installations. We also invite you to participate in an open roundtable discussion. We will be discussing community(ies).

PALMOVKA
Palmovka is a live electronics project of Lucia Udvardyova, using field recordings and custom-made hardware. it changes from gig to gig, adapting to inner and outer conditions and feelings. Beyond making music, she plays a vital role in shaping the underground scene in Central and Eastern Europe. Through initiatives like Easterndaze, the Baba Vanga label, and the SHAPE+ platform, she’s been amplifying experimental sound and community culture across borders.
LUKA PRINČIČ
Prince Lucija /Luka Prinčič/ is a computer musician, composer and media artist, traversing creative territories from deviant funk to sonic and time-based arts experiments. Founder of Kamizdat boutique CC netlabel. ‘’QUANTEAR" is a series of composition‑improvisation live situational collages — sonic adventures made up of sound experiments for various occasions, many drawn from stage arts and performance contexts. In a live audio‑performance setting, these fragments of recordings and patches of software code (this is, after all, computer music) are repurposed and remixed on the fly in a ritual of “quantum listening.” The sound performance also announces the forthcoming album The Luminous Darkness on Kamizdat.
BABILONSKA
Babilonska (Nina Maštruko) is a DJ inspired by a variety of styles, ranging from eccentric jazz, hip hop, and psychedelic soundscapes to raucous riffs from the depths of hell. She has been active as a DJ for nearly a decade, whether in nightclubs, at corporate events, or on student radio. In her sets, she mixes various genres, focusing on heavy bass and playful percussion, but always with a dash of psychedelia and drama. She was the curator of the ZEZ festival, which showcases experimental music and sound art, and is a collaborator with the Zagreb Biennale for Contemporary Music. She is a co-founder of the DJ collective “Subtilno,” which focuses on drum and bass, footwork, and jungle, and a former host of the radio show “Slušaj drugačije,” dedicated to experimental musical expression. Today, she runs the club and concert platform Onkraj. In 2021, she performed at the first Croatian Boiler Room event, and in Slovenia, she has performed at the Grounded, INDIGO, CE/MENT, and Niansa Gatherings festivals.

''Kamizdat Rentgen'' is a glance under the surface of the skin, a look into the fleshy entwinement of bones, muscles and nerves that shape the heterogeneity of the sound bodies. It is a series of music events organized by Kamizdat to increase the visibility of adventurous music makers who dare to venture into the territories where no one had been before. The events are often closely connected with the label’s new releases.
