Image Snatchers: the origins, impulses, and thirteen years of the collective The Feminalz

The lecture is dedicated to reflecting on the emergence and development of the project Image Snatchers. We will discuss the process of appropriation, transformation, and reuse of images that circulate around us faster than ever before. We will look at what has inspired and excited us over these thirteen years, how we have kneaded and shaped ideas into ‘snatching acts,’ and examine the challenges we have encountered during our work.

Maja Delak is a dancer, choreographer, and pedagogue, and a member of the collective The Feminalz.
