About

The class will consist of a combination of floor technique and improvisation through which we will expand our options for movement. With the help of clear improvisational tasks, we will explore our articulate body, trying to establish connections between all more or less distant parts of the body. Through floor technique, the emphasis will be on the fluidity of movement and the softness of the body, which will serve us in detecting effective movement through space.
 

Biography

After finishing high school in Ljubljana, Anamaria Klajnšček (1996) continued her education in Amsterdam at the Academy of Theater and Dance (AHK), where she met many choreographers and different styles of contemporary dance. Throughout her studies, she has worked extensively and often collaborated with young composer Darragh Kearns Hayes. She joined the TanzMainz Dance Ensemble in Germany during the 2017/2018 season, collaborating with Guy Nader and Mario Campos, Sharon Eyal, and Guy Weisman and Roni Haver. She currently works as a freelancer primarily in Barcelona, ​​as a performer in the performances of Roser Lopez Espinosa and Pere Faura, and is in the midst of her own creation of the COSSOC duet with Magic Serra.
