The discussion will draw on a coexistence of dichotomies as orientation points: emptied – limited space, thought – weight, immaterial – material, etc. and their creative, innovative undulations and crossings expressed in the collective and individual body of Jana Menger as choreographer and dancer.

Dancer and choreographer Jana Menger started her dance training at the Music and Ballet School in Novo mesto, where she also competed in gymnastics for seven years. After discovering contemporary dance and theatre, she started taking classes and workshops with numerous home and international teachers. In 1993 she became a member of the Dance Theatre Ljubljana, with which she started out on a career in contemporary performing arts and dance. In 2013 she graduated at the Academy of Dance in Ljubljana and took up her postgraduate study at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana. Jana Menger's opus includes over seventy dance and drama theatre performances. She has been collaborating with different directors and choreographers in institutional and independent productions since 1994.

Petra Tanko graduated from dramaturgy and currently works as a performing arts critic, editor, journalist, and broadcaster at the Arts and Culture Programme of Radio Slovenia. As a dramaturge, she has worked at the unit for fiction programmes at Radio Slovenia and in the area of theatre and contemporary dance with Katja Povše, Barbara Novakovič, and Branko Potočan. She is author and editor of a radio programme dedicated to contemporary theatre Oder (Stage) at ARS, the Third Channel of Radio Slovenia.
