Classes are focused on discovering and exploring individual physicality of participants. Work is based on principles, which allows creativity to come and go effortlessly. Collaboration with partner/ group helps us to unlock and soften our physicality and opens layers of deeper understanding. The goal is to fully awake our potential in the present moment and let the imagination and intuition guide our movement.
Biography
Kristýna Šajtošová is a contemporary dancer, teacher, and improviser. Her professional and personal path has been influenced mainly by discovering the instant composition and performance improvisation. She gained a dance/teacher degree from Duncan center conservatory in Prague. Her dancing training later brought her to Belgium, where she finished her bachelor studies at Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen. During her studies, she had a great opportunity to work with choreographers such as Jan Martens, Agostina D'alessandro, Stefan Dreher, Elias Lazaridis, Marta Coronado, and Renan Martins. After her studies, she returned to Prague. In 2015 she joined Spitfire company. She's part of creations " Constellation I. Before I say yes" and "Time for sharing". Recently she moved to Slovenia and performed with Gregor Luštek "The Cradle", Kaja Lorenci "Tristanov akord ali sladki poslej", Žigan Krajnčan,Gašper Kunšek, Jan Krmelj " Chorus". She's presently performing with Slovenian dancer and choreographer Maja Delak " Just for today".
